Introduction

About

I work with emotional distress, relational and family difficulties, migration, identity processes, and social and structural stress. My work is grounded in a critical, systemic and relational approach informed by international psychosocial and community-based practice. I understand psychological distress in relation to social and institutional contexts, including inequality, oppression, discrimination, power relations and dominant social narratives that shape experiences of identity, belonging, exclusion and difference in different ways across social positions. My practice spans individual, couples and family work, as well as mobile outreach and community-based practice. I work with people navigating experiences of distress shaped by contexts of trauma, migration, neurodivergence, relational and family difficulties, and identity-related processes, including those related to LGBTQIA+ and queer experiences, identities, relationships and ways of living.
